My late friend, historian and archivist Leonard V. Farley, labored for years on his manuscript of the life of Jeremiah Mugivan. He later handed it off to me, saying, "I guess you'll have to finish this." I sent a copy to Fred Pfening III, and I'm still not sure if Leonard's heartfelt efforts will be rewarded with a definitive bio. Not being closely tied to Peru, many details would remain beyond me, and this is a sadness. Mugivan reigned among the most storied of all show owners, and his colorful saga deserves a first-rate telling.
