Morning Buckles,
Just found this picture, are these Ringlings?
Thanks

From Richard Reynolds:
I'm sure this is the back door ramp into Boston Garden. I've seen other photos of the ramp. This would be RBBB, likely in the 1940s based on the few vehicles we can see. Buckles can say with greater certainly than I.
I've never been into Boston Garden. However, it is my impression that the elephants and menagerie were set up in a separate building from the arena itself and connected thereto by a passage.
The late Bob MacDougall (former RBBB General Manager and circus historian) wrote a very good article about the setup in Boston Garden. It was published in Bandwagon. .

I remember the ramp well but the area was much more compacted 40 odd years later.
Dave Mullaney once showed me some pix he had taken of this same scene and I wonder if this is a shot of his?
That ramp was hateful for rolling cages indeed.

This is definitely the old Boston Gardens.
During the 1970’s not only were the elephants and other livestock used to be housed in this building but the animal act people with their animal trucks and house trailers as well, always very tight parking
On the right of the photo one can see the part that was like a bridge connecting the building to the Arena.
SUE.
Great shot. I'd frame it and hang it. Thanks for more great pics Buckles and the comments, most, are invaluable.
