This might well be the Tom Mix Show from the late 1930's, they only had two elephants "Gentry Babe" and Max Gruber's "Eva".
The attendant appears to have studied at the Buckles Woodcock School of Congeniality."

I'm not familiar with the name.
However I remember a "Scratchy Jack" who worked in the Stake & Chain wagon on the Cole Show.

I am always amazed at what a small world show business is. I never knew "Scratchy Jack" but "Itchy Ike" worked with me year's ago. I wonder if they were related or at least knew each other. :)

Speaking of crummys, I just got a new matress and the delivery guys said that they had delivered a new one to a customer who had stayed at a hotel in NYC. They forgot and brought the bed bugs home. It cost them 4 grand to get the problem taken care of.
