Parker #9

Parker-9, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

Adele’s kitchen served as a hospital wing for sick animals and also as an artist’s studio. In the late 1950s, the Boy Scout troop I was a member of visited the ranch. In addition to regaling us with stories of Buffalo Bill, Mrs. Parker explained to us how the “Indian’s Alarm Clock” worked: when an Indian wants to get up at 7:00 a.m., he drinks a cup of water before going to sleep. If he wants to get up at 6:00, he drinks two cups of water. If wants to get up at 5:00 he drinks three cups of water, etc.

Well, a donkey painting a picture!
I wonder if that would work during a circus come-in?
I guess not.

With that thought in mind, Dalilah told me a day or so ago, she and some co-workers were exiting the Verizon Building in Tampa on lunch break and were suddenly greeted by a pungent odor.
She said, "If I didn't know better I'd swear it was elephant shit!"
Two of her friends chided, "You of all people should know that the Ringling animal walk passes this was every year!"
