Now this is just another guy on the street. These modern times have made it difficult to ID showfolks or nuts; like the people on bluetooth - how do you know if someone is talking to themselves or on a wireless. This should have been 2 topics - hate to see showfolks & nuts used in the same paragraph. cc
cc- About a month ago I was at the butchers, yes we still have an old time butcher shop in town. While I was waiting a lady approached the counter and was peering into the display case. She said, "They all look so good, I don't know which to get, the NY strip steak or the rib eye." Being a longtime customer in the friendly and informal neighborhood shop, I spoke up and said, "Anything from this shop is first rate, but I think the rib eye is terrific." She turned away from the display case and turned her head and pointed to the "star trek" ear piece; obviously she was not asking for suggestions but asking her dinner companion for help.
Isn't it sad that so many people cannot make a decision for themselves. Society now relies on "consensus", opinion polls and team efforts.
Use your brain, become informed, take a stand and have the guts to defend what you believe in.
By the way, the NY strip steak is very good, too; I brought some to the Kelly Miller after show cookout and community after glow.
