Ringling Bros. raised their first tent 125 years ago, May 19, 1884 here in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Last evening local circus fans and enthusiasts opened an exhibit in downtown Baraboo honoring the Ringlings and the Communities circus heritage. The exhibit, made up of privately owned memorabilia and photos, will be open Free to the public Monday thru Saturdays 1PM to 4PM through August 30th. The preview galla drew one hundred interested people from as far away as Chicago and Cedar Rapids. The Exhibit will be open to the public starting this Saturday, May 23rd with a day of circus activities in Baraboo. A rededication of the Memorial Circus Wall will begin the day and finish in the evening with the Annual Gollmar-Moeller-Ringling Circus Fans Tent Banquet in the former Al Ringling Mansion. Join us if you can.
