This wardrobe and costumes are from the original Ringling Winterquarters in Baraboo left behind when the show moved to Bridgeport at the end of the 1918 season. This lady, Carl Bohn Hulterstrum and her sister heard that the Winterquarters were going to be "at first" destroyed" but later a decission to retain the buildings. The girls contacted the controlling party in Baraboo and were allowed to remove costumes and so saved some historic pieces of Ringling History. This was in about 1935 which is interesting in that the Winterquarters had lay basically untouched for seventeen or eighteen years before real dismantalling accured. Ralph
