Gentry Bros. Circus 1930 #1

Mr. Dill selected the name "Gentry" for his own show, a title that had been in constant use for over thirty years.
The Gentry family sold their circus in 1916 but it was so highly regarded that the title was continually used by many enterprising showmen, legally or otherwise. Floyd King was quite liberal with it's use.

Gentry Bros. Circus - Sam Dill, proprietor - 1930-31.

Henry B. Gentry first used the title in 1887-88 - Prof. Gentry Canine Paradox (stage). He next used the title - 1889-90 Prof. Gentry's Equine Paradox.

Followed by Prof. Gentry's Famous Dog and Pony Show (two units) from 1985-98. The show was owned by Henry B. Gentry, Frank Gentry, Walter Gentry and J. W.Gentry.

And so on.
