Thanks. Joey "This looks like 1953 just after Hugo Schmitt had left the Mills Show after four seasons, he also trained a chimp act while there. The elephants behind "Burma" would be "Wallace Jenny", "Lena", "Dixie", "Bunny", "Minnie (later with Vargas) and "Lelabardi". The story goes that they had taken the tractor out from under the elephant truck and used the bull tubs for support. Hugo refused to take the elephants into the ring without tubs and just like the DeMille movie, Jack Mills said, "Take over K.Y." Hugo already had a deal to return to the Ringling Show." Buckles
