R & A PERRY CIRCUS 1992

R & A PERRY CIRCUS 19920001, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

hello buckles
i have finally self published my book sawdust & headaches has about 158
photos is $35 australian plus $19 postage to the USA from when George
Perry arrived in Tasmania as a convicted convict for stealing A hanky 7 years
transportation arrived in tasmania on the ship waterloo on march 2 1835 100
years later Perry's had one of the biggest circuse's in Australia 6 elephants
and travelling by train all of my uncles were very sport minded and used to carry
a couple of race horses on the train and enter them in various country race meetings
it is said that as the circus race horses were always close to the elephants it did not bother them so one of my uncles would load a couple of elephants on a truck and go up wind of the race track the local horses would scent the elephants and go bush
the circuse's horses would nearly always win. robert perry po box 2169 Murray Bridge

That is a great story about taking the elephants along to the horse race to scare off the competition. I will have to buy the book. What would the total be in US dollars for the book and shipping?

Robert,

You are going to need a manager!

I'll do the job for less than I originally wanted, but a bit more than you would be prepared to pay!!!!

Congratulations on your first book - are you going to do a sequel? And who will play you in the movie?

All the best,

Steve Robinson.
