Welcome to Buckles Blog. This site is for the discussion of Circus History all over the world.
This was pretty pricey for 1908 - We were only getting .50 & !.00 in the 60's. Does anyone know where Sheedy Park was?? cc
This was taken from a 1908 issue of the Newport, RI Daily News.
Might have been an early AR type, but someone wrote a rather scathing review of Adgie, noting she was the homeliest woman ever to perform in public, and she obviously got her lions to perform simply by leering at them.
