As a boy I so admired The Lone Ranger & his horse " Silver " adventurious TV carrer & enjoyed his saggas with his sidkick " Tonto & his horse " Paint ". What type of an act did Mr. Powell do in the Circus ???
He did not have to do anything. Just had to be The Lone Ranger and talk to the people who admired him for his movies. Thats a wild guess.
Can anyone tell me if Wallace Bros. Circus put out posters with the Lone Ranger on them?
This is Lee Powell who was an earlier Lone Ranger on radio. He could ride and rope having been in many a B Western in Hollywood as well as Buster Crabbe's side kick in the Flash Gordon serials.
With the circus he would make a brief appearance in the performance but for an additional 25 cents you could ramain and see the aftershow featuring the Lone Ranger and his congress of Rough Riders.
