These look like the elephants I see after a few too many margarita's! Gary

Gary, One can never have too many margarita's. This is Dottie before I knew her and she became a blond. I would love to learn her life history. She was a strong woman. I should say is. I think she is in her 90s now. Have you ever come across Gene Garner in Texas? He was from Alpine, TX. Also worked for Dottie. Very good around horses.

My Wife Christine is Dorothy's niece. Dorothy will be celebrating her 100th birthday on October 14th. She and her 80 year old son, Ed live together at the now national historic landmark Terrell Jacobs Circus Winter Quarters where she has been for about 60 years. Aunt Dorothy also worked Tommy the Tusker who shortly after became property of Ringling Brothers and was known as "King Tusk" We have a photo out of the newspaper from the 60's of Dorothy running into the ring with Tommy just 15 minutes after first meeting him at the War Memorial in Ft Wayne. The world should know of this great lady of the circus. She is a true National Treasure!
