Do any of you have more photos from King Bros Circus from 1955 where the route ended in Macon GA? The father of my husband was a mechanic and we are trying to find out his name. Any suggestions are welcome!!
Anyone know the people in this photo? Any idea of the man directly under the elephant's trunk? He is not Rex Williams, but he is standing underneath that name.
I hope not to be a bother. Do you know anyone who might have crew photos from King Brothers Circus of 1955 that ended in Macon Georgia for Winter Quarters? Looking for the show mechanic. Anyone who might know who that was?
Sometimes, because of travel and such, not everyone checks this post everyday. Sometimes it will take a couple of months hs. It's starting to be a busy time in the industry. Be patient.
We are super appreciative of what you have provided. Our rabbit trail hunt will continue. The gentleman we are looking for went by the name of "Lucky" and evidently considered himself Cuban although actually Russian. That is all we know. Hopefully some person will reveal the next piece of this mystery person someday. Happy to have found your blog and viewed your photo library. It's very interesting and well done!

You are correct it isn't Rex
There are other mistakes also
I can't enlarge the image to
try to identify some of them
It isn't of sufficient quality
When the show came under the "Acme"
cluster of shows it's corporate
title was "General Circus Operating"
General Managers included Floyd King
Arnold Maley & Bobby Snowden
"Sells & Gray" was "Kit Circus Operating"
General Managers included Bill English
& Willie Storey (who also booked them all)
Bill English's wife's name was Kit
They are all part of history now
Sure glad I was around & involved
in all 3 of them somehow

Duplicate pleas won't help you
Any folks I knew that might have
helped you are all still dead
