Welcome to Buckles Blog. This site is for the discussion of Circus History all over the world.
As an autherized dealer for the Harry H Strong Electric Company Sunshine Scenic Studios received a 30% resale (rental) discount as shown here by mistake These were the 6 spotlights that I mentioned in the wreck (the 3rd) by Michael Schwartz An insurance company covered the purchase of 6 new ones They trucked the damaged 6 back to me in Sarasota where they remain in my warehouse
The list price of these back in 77 was $5,485 US The last 2 were further discounted for the Toledo factory pick up
If anyone wants the wrecks "Come & Get Em"
Dan Kirby was an assistant to Bob Maio who was Director of Purchasing & Transportation In retirement Bob has moved to DeLand Florida
I could use one of those. My living room needs a lamp.
As I mentioned "Come & Get It"
TODAY'S LIGHT OPERATOR'S WOULD NOT KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THEM !
Around the country there are still working senior stagehands (like myself) that might remember Casey
That 18th Street office was the best & my favorite After that they moved up to New Mexico Avenue to be very close to The Colannade where Irvin & Shirley lived
When you got off the elevator you were greeted by the lovely Stephanie Karpovich & Gargantua
