When the New York Times built (or bought) their tower which is at the Southern end triangle of what was Longacre Square at 42nd Street & Broadway where it crosses 7th Avenue at 43rd it became renamed Times Square The triangle at the Northern end is actually Duffy Square
I've maintained an office in the Paramount Building which has the clock tower & the lighted globe on top since 1977 merely 43 years
Are you getting a break in the rent these days?
I have been in negotiations with the new management folk about a lease extension which included the request for relief past & future for several weeks I'm hopful & optimistic
