Beatty show bull man Benny White took Sid over for the film. He said Doris Day was a very sweet, delightful star, who spent time visiting with him about elephants. He said he was OK with working the picture, but upon wrapping the elephant scenes, he was happier getting back on the Beatty show where he belonged.
The Beatty show also lent George Werner to boss the Big Top.
Yes, it is. Doris was a flawless, blonde, American beauty. Jimmy was a flawless, enduring, beloved star to his dying day, at 86. Sid was a revered stalwart of the Beatty herd. A great picture, for sure.
