With that said, this was at the bottom of my circus film list. I love seeing our friends doubling the movie folks. Some of the atmosphere shots worked, but some were Hollywood cheese, and that frothy finale song was a turn-off like few others. Poor Stephen Boyd was clearly embarrassed trying to look like a singer. Doris glowed, Martha was funny, and legendary Jimmy Durante shone through, but the script and direction were the downfalls of this try at a circus film.
