This is a California sea lion, checkout the nose. American acts usually had California sea lions, sea lion acts in Europe often had South American or Patagonian sea lions. They both trainable, S.A. tend to work a little slower and might "freeze" on their seats if excited. Californian work with a little more "pep" but might take off if excited. (Both can bite, they're basically bears with funny feet.)
