Francine and Phil Schacht @ R. I'm not sure of the guys @ L. Dave Hoover's 78 Cat Wagon in the b.g., with a glimpse of his awning.
Phil and Francine were trained for the Flying Apollos by Bob Yerkes, and all concerned tried valiantly to make a flyer out of George Plimpton for his TV special. Phil told me George was a great guy, who finally made it back to the board from a feets-across. As we all recall, Phil and Francine had a 1st Class cradle act that I would not necessarily call a "2nd act". They were superb in all they did.

Dennis on the left & Phil's nephew
but can't recall his name for now
Along with quite a few other
circus performers the Schachts
were covered by my Blue Cross
group health insurance plan
Chic: That was a noble act and probably quite risky....
Nope Charles due to the
range of our work we were
never questioned on proof
of employment for years
Empire Blue Cross of NY
was happy to get the money
I just remembered that
Phil's nephew was Danny
(2nd from left)
