Paul Jerome sometimes appeared in whiteface and at other times as this tramp character. He was on Ringling for years.

Paul was AKA The Neon Clown. That bulb in his putty nose lit up from a clicker Paul had in a pocket. He also had oversized glasses that blinked a bright green, and a big heart that glowed a throbbing red when he stared at a pretty girl during Walkaround. In '57, I believe it was, I saw him on Gil Gray. Paul served with honor during WWII, and is interred at Arlington.
