Not a bad price for live entertainment

There were 6 union musicians jugglers

dog acts & contortionists along with

the "girls" all "AGVA" represented

A good time was had by all

Very likely from National Ticket

in Shamokin Pennsylvania

The musicians were AFofM not AGVA

For a program like that, the ticket was a bargain at twice the price.

For true devotees, there are many very worthwhile films of burlesque and vaudeville on YouTube. Look for histories of great names like Flo Ziegfield, and for photo essays of his many beautiful girls of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Don't be too surprised to find Barbara Stanwyck among them. You bet--she was there. Look for others who went on from Ziegfield to make it big as movie stars.

If only they could spell correctly....

I'm afraid Paul that the Brit

version is all too commonly

used on this side of the pond

The "Marquis Theater" in NY

had conflicting versions in

front of their Broadway joint

until their recent renovation

National would (& will)

print the way requested

I maintain my protest

I was just made aware that

after their 1st century

the company has relocated

to Paxinos PA but maintains

a PO box in Shamokin

Nothing stays forever

For many years we bought the

colored hole punches from them

for use as confetti

(Still have plenty on hand)
