Adela "Ada" Smeija came from Poland

to Big Bertha in the mid 60s with her

husband the late Klaus Blaszak

She is currently partnered with the

widdower of Bunny Bartok Janek Perz

None of the lions in her act

when she came to Ringling had

manes so either they were all

females or neutered males

Neutered males often become

tremendous in size & none

of her's were much larger
