Under the cues of Harriett Beatty, tigress Primba completes the fire hoop to mount the original Anna May. Beatty had 2 high seats, 1 seen here, which continued with him to the end of his career. They were both there in my time with him. This arena was duplicated almost overnight by the Nipple Factory, in Chicago, for the 1935 Cole season, as RBB's Gump refused to sell any part of Beatty's Hagenbeck-Wallace act when he quit at the close of 1934. This photo may need Buckles to verify the gentleman as Eddie Allen.
