Some sources have one "t" in Mrs. Beatty's first name. I've paid my respects to her resting place, in Lauderdale Memorial Park, and her marker, adorned with a rosary, reads, "Harriett Beatty 1909-1950." She was only 41 when she died of prolonged heart disease in their private 61 Car, on the Beatty train. The show was playing Kosciusko, Mississippi, on October 25.
