Gladys "Kill 'Em" Gillem had an earlier career as a championship lady wrestler.

My friends Grandmother Gladys Kill'em Gillem Wall began wrestling in carnival shows. Besides wrestling men and women, Gillem wrestled bears and alligators as part of her act.
