 This is me negotiating our first contract almost 40 years ago at the old office in D.C. standing Pat on $35 a week and Cook House! I still bear the scars of my wife kicking me under the table. At it's conclusion he mentioned, "You are the First Dept. Head I've hired, I hope Dad likes You" ...and I thought "Me Too!" |

Both the State & Manatee County
gave Feld enormous concessions
to get this tremendous building
& property (with rail spurs) on
the tax rolls after being empty
for many years when Siemans & GE
stopped production of turbines
A great location with
interstate I-75 access
nearby on US Route 301
Not in Sarasota but not
very far away either
So many skills, crafts and capabilities under one roof, along with a treasure trove of costume history!
