Ernie is pictured with a young lady on horseback on the inside back cover of the Vol. 60, No. 13 issue of BANDWAGON (the current one). The page is shared with two photos, and the ambiguous caption names Roy Thomas, Jr., and Minnie Gallagher--not indicating even which photo is being identified. And the unmistakeable "Blinko" is not named at all. Not only did the publication blow it for ID's, it also had eliminated the year and months of the issue. O lost, and by the wind grieved, Rick Pfening, come back again.

Ernie Burch with his
partner Maran were
also balloon artists
His gold metalic lashes
were his trademark that
could be seen for miles
Ernie was always the best with the prop crew as he never forgot the tip for the guys just for getting his trunk to and from clown ally !!
