I'll be 82 on the 26th. Some great people born at this time such as Sophia Loren, Gunther, and very shortly, Barbara Woodcock.

Oh yea! I remember those big ol clown pull-ups. That was my first year on RBBBC. Gunther and Kongo would run down the track in Spec and as they barreled through, we girls were to back up one by one allowing them the track. I panicked seeing the elephant with big freeking ears running toward me and did the dance of death forgetting what I was supposed to do. Gunther yelled, "Girlie, get out of the way!" At the last minute I found my legs and moved to the side. Whew, that was a scary moment. The circus was full of excitement for me thus became a lifestyle that I would stay with forever so I thought.
Oh, and Barbara's birthday is the 30th! Happy Birthday to my Mother-in-law!
My collaborator on the Mabel Stark documentary, due out this month, Leslie Zemeckis, sent me photos of Miss Loren, then 81, being honored at an Italian fashion show. She remains as alluring as ever, magnificent in mature beauty, ever the Oscar-winning international film star.
