When I was called to the Blue Show after the train wreck I was fascinated to find that "Tommy" and Jimmy Silverlake were sort of a Floating Enterprise and would bounce around from unit to unit. He would say, "Just got a call from Washington, I've got to do a publicity gig with "Tommy" and off they would go then later learn they were sitting home in Medora. My father swore he would inevitably create havoc but he was about as harmless as any elephant I was ever around.
