Welcome to Buckles Blog. This site is for the discussion of Circus History all over the world.
Roger Boyd, Sr. When Roger retired and was living near Valdosta, Ga. I would stop as I was headed North for the season and we would have breakfast at the Waffle House at exit #3 on I-75. I always enjoyed cutting up a few Jackpots with Roger.
Without trying I memorized Roger's Side Show pitch
"They better not start anything as we've got them outnumbered" He would announce out the back door after checking the house
Roger was also an accomplished sign painter with a Valdosta shop
