From the Johnny J. Jones era of the early '40s. Few may recall today that this carny occupied the Volusia County Fairgrounds site, in DeLand, where the Beatty show set up Winterquarters at the close of the reorganization season of '56. In '59, the title became Beatty-Cole, and remains the home of Johnny Pugh's current Cole show.
