#1 Clown Gags!

One of the funniest numbers I remember was Ernie while he was on the Cole Show.
During the the Walk Around he would stop at the Back End Blues, go into a Dance Routine and the audience would start clapping right along with him.

Eddie (Mother) Dullum & Glen (Seacow) Hart

did a truly great "washerwomen" gag on the

front track very close to the red seats in

colorful drag (often both tipsy) slinging

wet rags back & forth with much overspray

followed by the chase into the crowd with

pails of confetti or popcorn on CBCBC

I remember that washerwoman gag very well. A classic. About 1964 or so if I recall correctly. Somewhere I have a glossy pr photo that Seacow gave to me of himself and a wonderful slide I took of Eddie Dullum as a Hawaiian dancer with four beach balls--two "behind" and two up front!

I believe that was "Mother's" star

turn to David Rose's "The Stripper"

The "Alley" in those years were my

introduction to real circus clowns
