As I posted previously, read her autobio, SAWDUST AND SOLITUDE. These days, it's hard to find. My copy is a First Edition, a gift from the collection of Leonard Farley. It is worth the effort, even if you only find a copy to borrow.

You are right, Roger. The used bookstores I saw online are selling it for around $600. However, there are 91 copies in American libraries, and if your local one doesn't own it, you can borrow another one from elsewhere using a system called Interlibrary Loan. Free!
