Once again, we deal with the claim that this young woman was born to Clyde and Harriett Beatty. This couple had no children. Harriett Evans (her actual birth surname was the Polish equivalent, Iwicki) married Beatty in 1933. Part of the deal was her toddler, who had been born Albina Davilia, on December 24, 1931, in Chicago. Her father was a man in a Latin dance troupe with which Harriett had toured. Albina never changed her name formally to Harriett, and had no claim on the Beatty name, as Clyde Beatty did not adopt her. "Harriett Beatty, Junior" was strictly a contrived stage name. Here, she is working in Thousand Oaks, on what was once called the Great White Stage, at World Jungle Compound. In my day, we were Jungleland, working in the Big Stage Arena. The porthole above Albina is seen in fuller shots of this cage.

No, she died in Florida, on December 20, 2010, just before her 79th birthday. Her obituaries named her as Harriet (sic) Beatty Say.
