Floto the tusker is the one that went on a rampage in Orange, Texas and a few days later was killed.
I got to meet the man that killed Floto and was a given a piece of his tusk.
I have the tusk framed and mounted with a letter from Dewey telling about it.
Dewey Godfrey, worked a an Orange hardware store and used a 30-30 rifle.
He said many used a 22 and just made him madder.
The tusks were sawed off and put in the first state bank in Orange.
Zack Terrell came back and wanted them but it was a no go.
Dewey said he made many a gun handle out of them.
