"That's the way the story goes, Streamline was one of McLain's assistants and finished out the season, as seen above with Merle Evans and "Modoc" but by the time 1943 rolled around Eddie Allen was in charge and put "The Changing Of The Guard" elephant number together.

Streamline!....that's almost as bad as Buckles.
Freddie Logan told me The Changing of The Guard was
The Best Elephant Number he was ever around.
Speaking of Freddie, I just returned from a day at
Circus Pages in Howell, Mich. TWO FULL HOUSES
And an EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE. For their 25th
Edition they have gone all out.
