To Jim Alexander

You're right!. The first thing Smokey did was have these publicity photos made and right away was contacted by Bev Kelly for the Around The World In 80 Days outdoor gig in St. Louis.
Ran for quite a while starring Michael Rennie who cracked to  Smokey one day, "I've done a lot of things in my career but in my interviews here all I'm asked is what it like like to ride this Damn elephant".
Unless you have a complete back record of the Blog, I defy you to identify the lady in the picture!.

She did a lady principal on the Little Cristiani show at about that time- either just before or just after this.

Mentioning Bev. Kelley and Chappie Fox: Don't know the background but both the St. Louis Muny Opera and Circus World Museum used the phrase, "Alone in it's Greatness."

Although he tried to obliterate

the "W" pattern on the tub with

that title box it didn't succeed

(I'd know that tub anywhere)
