All I had back then as a young fan a Christy poster in a book.
The Bandwagon had an excellent articles of the history of the show and the one of the elephant that needed a muster plaster I was something else.
The wintered in my town Beaumont, Tx for a few years.
Tex knew Christy and he let Tex in his south Houston barn and he hit the jackpot as many paper items like Everet James the father of Harry James contract. Also Terrell Jacobs contract as well as many show items as letterheads for Christy and Lee Bros.
Tex said the tents were still there and you could put your hand right through them.
