Chappie #12

During my four years at Circus World the park closed down several times for enlargements, on this occasion it included the construction of the arena. One day Rex Williams stopped by explaining that he had sold his Rhino to a show in Mexico and could I baby-sit "Reed" and "Gardner". Some time later Chappie noticed them and mentioned that he had never had his picture taken with a tusker. The upshot was, the arena was almost  finished, the park about to reopen and I'm starting to worry that some smart guy guy in the office might count the elephants when by chance I ran into Big Johnny Walker  who said, "Hell!, Rex has been home a couple of weeks!. I called and he picked them up a few days later.
