Guess this happens every show, check the Hungarian National Circus face book page for a video at April 3rd. Also see this revue of the show, (hope it translates) http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chapiteau.de%2F2015%2Frichter%2Frichter.htm
This is one of the best circus action photos I've ever seen. Not only is the giraffe trotting between the elephants but it has to lower its head to go under the guy.
When Gunther first got the giraffe Dickie in 1980, he wanted it to work with his two young Africans on the hippodrome track.
I saw a film clip of the effort. Dickie was to lead the two bulls on the track connected to them by a lead. But the giraffe went to jumping and bucking and the effort was dropped.
However, Dickie did appear in the center ring with the two Africans. Mark Oliver sat on Dickie's back. That was the 1981-82 Red Unit.
The two Africans were with the Pages at last account.

None of them seem to be tethered
Quite a sight to behold (thanks)
I guess we'll all have to get to
Europe to see anything like this
This might have been on Richter's
Magyar Nemzeti Cirkusz

Looks like Joseph Richter Jr. with his giraffe Zambesi and two of Rene Casselly's elephants.
