This looks like Clyde Beatty. (Some of you steel arena
authorities can probably verify this just by looking at the props and the
configuration of the cage bars.)

Yes that's him but none of the other shots show CB.
That bent bar should be recognized
CAGED FURY consists primarily of stock footage showing lions and tigers prowling around in jungle settings. The film’s one high spot is an all-too-brief montage of shots at the end, showing various wild animal acts (none of which are identified) being presented. Since some of these shots only last a few seconds each, they are best viewed as a series of still images.
This is the arena preceding the era of the all-aluminum cage. This genius engineering feat was built by the Nipple Company in Chicago, for the 1934 Hagenbeck-Wallace show. When Beatty quit Ringling-held shows that year, his adversary, Sam Gumpertz, refused to sell Beatty any part of the act. He had the Nipple Company turn out a duplicate cage in record time for the Cole show's early winter dates prior to their premiere season of '35. Another edition of this cage was built new for Beatty in 1960, in DeLand. Working strictly from details of the old cage, the Owen Company succeeded in replication under the guidance of the Beatty show's legendary welder, Charlie Harris.
