The narrator for this short is Knox Manning, an actor and radio personality who did the narrations for many theatrical short subjects. He is probably best remembered today, however, as the narrator of Columbia Pictures’ Saturday matinee serials. (The voice-overs in the Batman TV series of the 1960s copied Knox Manning's somewhat tongue-in-cheek but urgent serial narrations of the 1940s, especially his narrations for the two Batman movie serials.)
