If I had to choose the one act that I enjoyed the most that night, it would probably be the Hanneford Troupe featuring George Hanneford, Jr., “abetted by the titillative whip of Poodles Hanneford.” (Earlier that year, I’d seen the Hanneford Troupe that featured Tommy Hanneford perform at Cleveland’s Grotto Circus. It was also an outstanding act.)
