The host of Super Circus was Claude Kirchner. (Some sources say that he had some actual
circus experience as a pitchman.) In
addition to announcing the acts, doing the commercials, and keeping everything
moving along, Kirchner would also provide an informative voice-over commentary
about the acts while they were performing.

During the show’s final season, Jerry Colonna took over from Kirchner as "Ringmaster."
