Here is one of the posters that would have drawn Chicagoans to visit Jumbo - - As you see, the likeness is very true to the above photo. While Jumbo (standing right at 11 ft.) was perhaps even larger than the two mounted ones, his tusks were undeveloped, had been worn down, or broken.
