Bill Johnston said she came from Kellogg Zoo in California to Arthur Bros. Never heard of it.

Could this be the same Shirley that Luke Anderson had on the Ted DeWayne show in about 1949? I suppose leased from Rubens?

Arthur Wirtz bought the Rubens elephants and placed them on King Bros to cover for his Cole Bros herd which was in Hollywood to make "Elephant Walk."
