This extra attention also extends to the music played by
Buffalo Bill’s Cowboy Band during the performance. Authentic show music was used including
Saddleback Galop and Whip and Spur Galop (both by
Thomas S. Allen) and The Red Man (by Sousa.)

Sousa's THE RED MAN was one of Bill Pruyn’s first choices whenever “Indian” music was called for. He used it for the elephant long mount that ended the first half of Ringling’s 112th Edition, which had a spec with a wild west show theme.
