4 years later (1917) not to be
outdone "The Original Dixieland
Jazz Band" played "Tiger Rag"
which became the theme song for
the Clemson Tigers & might have
been played for Harriet
Chic, I`m one of those Clemson Tigers!! If you`ve never seen it there ain`t nothing like "The Most Exciting 30 Seconds in College Football", when The Clemson Tigers run down the hill at Death Valley with Tiger Rag being played by the band. It`s "The Song That Shakes The Southland"!!!!
So Hal I can only imagine your
Thanksgiving homecoming game
played against the "Elephants"
(surely a team from somewhere)
Go get em Tigers
I`m trying to forget the last time my Tigers played the Elephants (Alabama), It wasn`t pretty for us!!! Although my Clemson Tigers have beaten both The Auburn Tigers & The LSU Tigers in Bowl Games the past two years!!! C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-RRRRRR-S Fight Tigers, Fight Tiger, Fight, Fight, Fight!!!!
Alabama Hal oh that's too bad
I was kinda hoping they were
from Hugo or Little Rock
I guess Clemson were the Bengal
Siberian cross both very sturdy
& brightly colored markings
