This was taken about 1929 by my grandfather, Luke swank who was a noted photographer.

I see Grace's photo of Otto Griebling has been posted. It's one of the clown photos taken by her Grandfather, Luke Swank. There's an interesting story about how the publishers of Luke Swank's photos worked with the Circus Historical Society in Baraboo to identify the circuses and years of the clown photos. Grace would have to tell it.
